People have a tendency of overlooking the power of small wins as a result they end up not getting to the big wins. This is mainly because they are focusing too much on winning big to a point where they dont see the value of small wins. They dont understand that small wins are stepping stones to the big wins.
When you recognize small wins you are realizing that you are making progress in what you are busy with. You are building a portfolio of evidence with the small wins as you are counting them and building more strength through those small wins. It becomes so easy to quit if you don’t notice the movement no matter how small. When a child takes the first step you encourage and remind that child that he or she can do it again and again until she wins walking. Why, when we are adults, do we not feel encouraged when we make small moves to the right direction? Why do we become so hard on ourselves by not noticing that we have made a small step forward? Some people start something which is a good small step to the right direction, but they dont follow such a step with massive action so that they can continue to see the results of the small steps they took. They dont understand that small steps become the light in a challenging season. The small wins are a reminder that if you won yesterday you can win today because you have proof that you won yesterday.
Small wins have a way of opening big doors, so if you dont see the small wins how are you going to recognize those big doors? Whatever you conquered yesterday remind yourself today that you are a winner and if you did it before you can do it again.
