Your yesterday should never be better than your today and your tomorrow. Champions never arrive, they always grow and become better daily. If you keep referring to how great you were yesterday you are undermining the power you have today to make your tomorrow the best. If you have people in your life that keep reminding and applauding you for your yesterday you are in the wrong crowd. You need to be surrounded by people that will challenge you to keep growing daily so that you can always become your best version of yourself. Stop the arrival mentality. At the top of every mountain is the beginning of another mountain. That’s a growth mentality. Nokia thought they arrived when they made the Nokia cellphones till Samsung and other brands came in the market with better technology, and Nokia refused to reinvent the wheel and adapt to the current technology to improve their brand. Today we hardly see a Nokia cellphone in the market. Yesterday’s excellence will always be tomorrow’s mediocrity.
Refuse to be comfortable with what you have when you can have so much more. People that succeed are people who know that success is a journey not a destination. Every achievement leads to a new door of opportunities and you must keep going, keep walking, keep become the best version of yourself.
