Growth first happens internally before it shows externally. The longer is takes for it to happen externally means it is busy with you internally. If you can just keep going than quitting you will soon realise that you are building the powerful you before the fruits show to the world.
The problem starts when people become so impatient with themselves and think if progress is not happening externally then they are a failure. We have the need to impress the world and we end up failing ourselves because we quit the great moments that are busy shaping us internally. The society does not even speak of personal development because personal development is about internal growth. We dont want to make time investing in ourselves for internal growth. Instead we always want to see physical fruits where there is no roots for a tree to grow. The fact that there is little progress or movement externally it means there is major shift internally. Your mind is being transformed, your eyes are being positioned to have a clearer vision and your ears are being refined to refuse to hear the negative noise. Even when there is no movement yet externally, dont run away from the growth process. Instead continue to learn, continue to push, and continue to invest in you. A bamboo tree doesn’t suddenly grow the next day its seed is watered. Some progress needs to be watered for longer periods for external growth to finally show. 5 years of watering a bamboo tree leads to phenomenal growth. Dont tell yourself that you dont have time for internal growth. Where are you rushing to? Success is a journey of daily internal investments and growth.
Choose to allow yourself to grow each day in what you are busy with. When the time is right external results will finally show and by that time you will know as well that you are ready for such external results. You will not think its by luck but you will definitely say you have grown. If it doesn’t lead you to your internal growth then those premature external results won’t last.
